Responsible for 24/7/365 traffic information operation, serving six markets and 28 stations in North and South Carolina. Hiring and management of traffic anchors and producers.

News director for all five Charlotte Clear Channel stations. Oversight and production of weekly 30-minute public service program, distribution of PSA information, and handling of Public File. Extensive use of Prophet System, Cool Edit, FTP, and Internet; expert computer literacy. Scheduling and staffing of positions in news and traffic. Prior to assumption of Total Traffic duties, anchored news for WLYT and oversaw content for three other news anchors as well as local traffic reporters. As air personality in Soft AC and Country formats, also ran remotes and did production (Prophet/Cool Edit/SAW).

Re-designed various music genres for broadband provider looking to expand into audio and video broadcasting. Made contact with record companies for service and to gauge interest in exclusive music channels. 

All aspects of programming for Infinity Broadcasting A/C station. Oversaw airstaff and music testing; managed promotions department. After a great book, position was eliminated due to budget constraints.

Part of small team which set up ten initial music channels for new global digital satellite broadcasting company. Formats included CHR, Alternative, A/C, Dance, Urban A/C, Jazz, Classical, Country, Oldies, and Classic Rock. Involved producing viable music lists, rotations, promos, voice-overs, and interaction with the label community. After launch, programmed Top 40 and Alternative formats, using Dalet system.

Oversaw staff of format-specific chart managers for four radio-and-record-friendly magazines per week. Interaction with Broadcast Data Systems for chart information and accuracy. Monitored radio panel and served as liaison with record labels. Executed logoing of radio stations. Reported to the publisher.

Daily music logs, using Selector; evaluation of new music, programming decisions, special music and weekend programming and daily station operations (including formatics, promotion, jock scheduling, and jock screening). Compilation of weekly call-out list and tape, plus quarterly auditorium music testing and production of other research information. Liaison with labels, artists, trade magazines, and management. Produced special artist appearances at the station with live performances and listeners. Produced summer concert series at World Trade Center and South Street Seaport. 1997 Billboard "Music Director of the Year" (nominee, 1995 & 1996). Gavin Magazine "Major Market Music Director of the Year" nominee, 1995, 1996, 1997.
